SCDGP Board

The organisation is governed by a Board consisting of five local general practitioners and two independent Directors. These Directors bring a wealth of experience both in General Practice on the Sunshine Coast and in other areas such as Accreditation, GP-Hospital Interface, Interstate and overseas general practice experience. They are committed to the effective governance and leadership of our Division.

The Board's governance and strategic leadership is achieved with the assistance of standing subcommittees.

These subcommittees provide the Board with enhanced opportunities to move through the Board work more effectively and efficiently. 

There are three subcommittees:

  • Governance Subcommittee: considers clarifying the rules of the Division, especially in regards to the services it provides.
  • Finance and Audit Subcommittee: considers financial strategies and the development of sustainable projects that best use the funding over the term of our contracts.
