National Prescribing Service

NPS/QUALITY USE OF MEDICINES

The National Prescribing Service (NPS) provides education and information about Quality Use of Medicines.  Some activities are eligible for inclusion in the PIP program for example, clinical audits, educational visits and case studies.
We offer NPS visits to you in your practice to discuss current evidence on specific therapeutic topics and how this translates into quality prescribing. The Division currently offers two topics each year. The visit usually takes 30 minutes. Please phone the Division on 5456 8888 if you would like a visit.
